Choir Sessions

Choir sessions are from 7:15-8:45PM.

Throughout the 10 week term, we will be learning 5 new fabulous choral arrangements, created by our choir directors exclusively for My Pop Choir.

Our Richmond Hill/Thornhill Choir meets at Thornhill Presbyterian Church (map below).  Please note that this church has a thorough ventilation system which makes it an ideal location to sing during the pandemic.

All My Pop Choir Members will have access to our Member's Only Page.

Here's what you can access:

  • Vocal Warm-Up

  • The Vocal Recordings

  • The Sheet Music

  • An 'All Vocals' MP3 recording of all parts sung together

  • Backing Track

All My Pop Choir Members will have access to our Online Voice Workshops.  These workshops cover various topics from practical approaches on improving the health and quality of your singing voice to in depth analysis of vocal anatomy and breathing techniques.

Every term we showcase some incredible artists who will be performing virtually through YouTube just for us!  In addition, every term we engage in one virtual open mic performance evening for members of the choir.

Want to sing in a choral music video?  Each term we put together a music video which will showcase one of our songs of the term.  It's always a huge hit!  See our Performances Page for past music videos.

Covid-19 Safety Protocols

  • Using the valuable information presented in Choral Canada's: We Can Sing Safely's webinar, Public Health Ontario's recommendations, and feedback from our recent survey, we have put together a Covid-19 Policy for the return of our in-person choir sessions.  You must read this safety policy prior to starting our In-Person Term.

  • In addition to these protocols, members will have access to online choir sessions in the event that you need to miss a session.

  • In the case that in-person choir sessions are no longer deemed safe by the federal or provincial government, choir will continue online until in-person sessions can resume.

Read our Safety Rules and Precautions.
